Munich attracts many tourists each year, no matter what your hobbies and interests are you can be sure that you will be able to find something to do that you enjoy. A popular attraction that most people take part in is the museums, Munich is home to many notorious and well known museums which draw people in from all across the globe. One in particular is the Deutsches Museum, this is one of the largest and oldest science museums in the world so it truly an amazing sight and can provide you with some great facts about history that you were not aware of.

There are three buildings which can be located in the Isar that house many of the great artefacts of our time from land transportation to aircraft, these redundant buildings have a protection order against them so that they will be standing for years to come preserving the history they hold.

Not every museum is targeted towards specific eras so if you are not into a certain topic you will still be able to browse general museums and learn about the history or our world and how it has developed over the years, this is very educational as well as fun to see.

One of the main things to be showcased in Munich is famous art masterpieces from various people. The city of Kunstareal has the majority of important galleries including the Neue Pinakothek, the Pinakothek der Moderne and the Alte Pinakothek. The infamous Alte Pinakothek has some of the most famous pieces from between the 14th and 18th centuries which are very popular amongst tourists as well as locals. You can be sure to make a day trip visiting the Alte Pinakothek as it consist of two large floors showcasing art from these 4 centuries.
