Nightlife in Munich
Not many people realise that Munich is one of the hottest places to go for its nightlife,
you will be able to find bars and clubs for every taste of music. If you are planning a
night on the town you are advised to check with people who have been in the past to see
which area will be best for you. There are two main nightclubs that Munich has to offer,
these being Soul City and Maxsuite. Soul City has various nights with different music so
you would have to check what is on each night in order to get your preferred music. Every
other Thursday it will be a gay night so if that's not your thing, find out before you plan
on visiting it. Maxsuite is the more popular out of the two but can be very difficult to get
in due to its popularity, it is fairly expensive compared to some of the other bars in Munich
and it will only allow people ages 18 to 30 through the doors.
There are many dancing halls that you can go to if you fancy it, well over ten to be precise.
Each one having a different style of music and drinks so that you can guarantee you will find
the perfect one for you. You would be best checking each one out before deciding where to go
as this may narrow the choice down to a few which you can visit on different days to find out
for yourself which you prefer the most. K41 is a very popular tourist spot for some reason as
it is very reasonably priced and has a mixture of music attracting people from across Munich to
dance the night away. If you enjoy techno music then you should check out Nachtkantine, a lot
of famous DJ's visit this club so if you are lucky enough to be visiting Munich at the same time
as a famous DJ you should definitely look it up.
If you just want a quiet bar to sit down and relax after a day of walking you can, there
are hundreds of beer gardens or inside pubs where you can chat to your friends and family
about your day and what you plan on doing with the remaining time of your holiday. Have a
game of pool table football or any other activity that many places have to offer.
